Nick Wright says LeBron James saved the Lakers and that is undeniably, unequivocally true: “And anyone debating otherwise is either making sh*t up, are doesn’t know what they’re talking about. When LeBron James decided to sign with the Lakers it’s not only that the proudest, most decorated, most consistent successful franchise in the history of the sport. Was in it’s lowest time. A team that five years before LeBron signed there only miss the playoffs five times dating back to when they were in Minneapolis in their entire history. And then in the five years before LeBron got there missed the playoffs every single year. It’s not that they were bad for the Lakers, they were of the 30 teams in the NBA the single worst team in the league. For the five years leading up to LeBron getting there.
