i could not figure out why she kept saying “that’s why i’m here” until i realised she’s from a security company. she thinks he’s asking if she’s aware he already has a Ring doorbell, like for his “security provision.” she’s like “yeah i’m here about ur security 👁️👄👁️”

Dude solicitors are so fuckin annoying we have a sign on our mailbox but it’s on a lid that flips up and down, we keep it up and the no soliciting sticker is on the bottom of the lid, so solicitors will flip it down and pretend like it was down the whole time

Everyone justifying the saleswoman’s behavior is a problem. We pay money for no soliciting signs, just to keep these people away yet they do not care and continue to try and peddle their shit you aren’t interested in.

last time this happened I opened the door, asked for his name, then called his company to tell them he was not honoring no soliciting signs they were very apologetic and said they'd take care of it saw him get a phone call when he was across the street, and storm off

This job sucks they have higher acceptance rate and bait people into high salary like 100k+ a month, but its a scam job listing that gets you nowhere

of course she's with Vivint. They always ignore you when you tell them you are not interested and when you have no soliciting signs. Then they come back multiple times anyway. They are relentless, rude and unprofessional @vivintsecurity

The best way to handle these people is ask where they live.. when they obviously respond 'why'?' you then tell them that you're going to bother them at their household.. and you'll follow them home if you have to. Watch them scatter ... for good.

We have a signs saying no soliciting, private property and trespassers will be shot so they enter at their own risk 😂

This happens at my home too but I also have empathy for the people who may not have other job options as these door to door jobs are likely not first choice jobs for anyone. So, I try to be clear and also kind is they are usually younger people.

Never had this issue when I did Door to door. Don’t be an asshole, leave your flier or sports and mark as not interested and move on. You’re on their property and selling/soliciting..door to door was my favorite part of the sales process. Talked to so many different ppl.

I chased a guy from the same company away from my door twice in two days last week. Looks to me like they're having trouble selling security systems and middle-management is dropping the hammer. There's probably a vulture capital/private equity angle too.
