I don't know that this was real; it does kind of look set up. But in actuality? One of my kids ever did that, my immediate reaction, without even thinking, would have been to backhand the hell out of her. Woulda knocked her clean over, with the slap to her face. That would have just been a defensive reaction I couldn't stop.

Mom clearly is making great life choices.

mother makes a threat she will never keep, again.. "grounded all summer" mom will not keep word. never make a punishment as a scare threat your not willing to follow through with.
