My mum has Alzheimer’s & was diagnosed around the time my 2nd was born. She doesn’t really know who he is but knows he’s family. It’s a heartbreaking disease that prolongs loss in a terrible way. Hopefully we are near the end of this awful journey & we can all rest soon.

Fingers crossed. I know it's a cliché but it has more than one victim when it happens doesn't it? It's hard as anything for everyone

Can relate to this so much. Lost my mam to it and my dad is there now. Got to try and take the emotion out of it all to keep going 🙏
