Every time I have these conversations, I choose two categories...one for those who earn way above minimum and those who earn minimum....without fail, the latter agrees and wants to do more to earn more, the former thinks more should be done for them to earn more doing the same

I concur! I was once a minimum wage earner. I didn't have my degree at the time. I did this job for two yrs then started studying for my degree FT while working PT at Sutherland on the UWI campus. By the time I finished my study I was earning a gross of $600k p/m. #MyStory

Thing is ... things dont have to increase ....just that business owners too greedy you have 5 employees and the wage bill gone up by $5000 but the accumulated goods/services increase far beyond that $5000
