Oh man, I didn't think the plan was going to work. I mean that other tree is still sorta small. The Churu did the trick though. And it stayed pretty calm when TheCatIsInTheBag. No choice though cats will claw ya up. Good for both of them ~ rescue successful !!!

The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977). This H.G. Wells novel is very hard to film well, and Island Of Lost Souls is still the best interpretation, but the '77 version is (I think) very good. Burt Lancaster is a great choice for Dr. Moreau and draws you in well, while Michael York is actually pretty impressive when he lets go. The make-up and prosthetics hold up well enough, though they lack a bit of fear and horror, and the fights between animals and man-beasts are pretty intense.
