Why would anyone that love's and understand union wants to remove this from the game, why?

Good ol' scrummaging. Just like it used to be. Always great to run the opposition into the air and see the legs dangling. Apparently the scrum had around 5 tonnes of pressure going though the front rows necks! It was very satisfying indeed!

I’ve been on both ends of that in my time. Very horrible if it happens to you, massively satisfying if you are the aggressor.

What a mess. Stupid to risk a guys neck over possession. Knowing when to button off is essential. That's horrific.
