Brett when he sees your dumb comments

😂

bro released the wine glass with confidence

A delicate touch is important for glassware. The figure is getting full marks.

the age of the house wife is coming to an end

Brett, I say this purely for research and proof of concept reasons, can you have it walk up to the table and hump the table?

Finally someone else my wife can argue about loading the dishwasher the proper way

They are not fully autonomous. There is a remote VR driver.

Would you be so kind as to explain how the owners will keep Figure’s hands clean.

Ready to review it

I will buy non-glass stuff just to make the robot feel less stress >_<

Brett, your humanoid robot wouldn’t survive day one on the job. Fired before lunch .. 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

Next up: hand wash a crusty pan with a scrub brush, sponge, and dish soap 😅

The advancements are insane! wen Blade Runner 2049 AI

Are people seriously excited for robots to take on the role of home making? Stacking dishes into a robotic, automatic dishwasher.. lol. Humanoid robots in industrial and safety-intensive settings make sense, but I don't see it in the home. Cool demo tho!

Hey brett, was curious have you given figure a wine glass with a stem that's too long for the top of the dishwasher? What does figure do in those conditions? I am always interested in how these robots handle the edge cases.

Impressive, but why can't he/she just turn his hand 180° to drop the glass

Nice!

Pays $50k for a humanoid house servant. Wife comes behind it and "corrects" all the mistakes. Because obviously, it loaded the dishes wrong.

Congratulations @adcock_brett! But everyone's missing the point: it's not about glass or plastic, it's about understanding physics. When stacking 2 glasses, @Figure_robot 03 and Helix 02 ignore the fact that grabbing the top one might cause the bottom one to fall.

Hey Brett, this is really cool. Would you consider releasing an hour long unedited clip with Helix 2, or stringing together more videos showcasing its general abilities across other tasks?

just noticed something strange. is the robot right handed? is this really autonomous?

Robots doing delicate household tasks reliably is a huge milestone. This is how true general-purpose robotics becomes real.

Looks like it basically falls in place instead of gently being put in place .. is that why the other video was with plastic?

If this robot is purely autonomous, why does it favor its right hand? It’s because it’s not autonomous. This robot is clearly being remotely operated, sorry.

when will we be able to buy one Brett?

The real question is if you have a robot to do the dishes, why do you need the dishwasher?

How long until the robot can hold 8 wine glasses in one hand like a waiter?

Meanwhile at Tesla

Can it flip a coin?

Hey figure Is this possible?

Attempt number 100? Do it live

Hey what’s the thinking time like from request to action for a task like this?
A machine outsourcing work to another machine. Why doesn’t it do it by hand in the sink? Lazy clanker.

whats the expected timeline for humanoids to become cheaper than a part-time maid?

Mass production of 1 million Optimus per year about 5 miles away. 😲
