The Yaka Arrow is basically a cheat code 😂 Yondu could take out half the MCU before they even finished explaining the plan. But I think killing him was more about giving Guardians 2 its emotional payoff than fixing a plot hole.

While it was tearing up a few heroes and monsters, one of Dr strange , Scarlett witch or thanos with the gauntlet would turn that dart into a feather then as it floats harmlessly to the ground, calmly make blue mist out of Yondu. So no.

If anything, they'll use this "cheat code power" as a metric to show how powerful Thanos is, kinda like what they did with Hulk to start and it established things right away.

anyone with reflex like spiderman can catch it, itll stuck in big target like cull obsidian, ebony maw instantly break it, and it wont penetrate thanos skin , lets be real yaka arrow can only clear weaklings , it wont penetrate uru or vibranium armor like bp
