The people there really listened to her too. You could see it in their faces. She has an incredible ability to engage. Not one of them made sarcastic comments or faces. No one seemed angry at what she was saying.

That’s what Republicans do and especially Trump does. They cannot win on the real issues that matter. So they try to distract your attention from those and put the attention on meaningless issues that are like click bait or tabloid media. It’s like a magician or a con man. Don’t pay attention to what’s really going on. Instead pay attention to something dramatic that I direct your attention towards. Politics and marketing are both largely contests of directing people’s attention.
