Just read on wiki that David Mirkin directed this scene and hated Fox for being so cheap on the production, they didnt even wanted the crane shot at the end and that's why its so tumbly. Couldnt even get the street closed. This explains their constant blows on FOX being cheap

idk why but when I was a kid i always loved this episode like i found it was scary at first of him leaving his world but then him coming to our world made me happy too

this scene, Simpsons goes to hell and Behind the Laughter were 3 epizodes I thought were the final (I was young and wathcing them out of order... I mean not 10 year could expect that the show will run for over 30 years)
