I got that on the very first mission after the tutorial. It was a 95% chance to hit 😂

Missing 3 times in a row: 20% × 20% × 20% = 0.8% Answer: 0.8% chance That's about 1 in 125.

I got the "miss a 90% shot" and "hit a 10% shot" in consecutive turns. Character misses her shot, next character hits.

I got the first one like my second ever fight but still need to get the 10% one.

It's ostensibly harder imo despite being technically identical odds of getting the achievement. Most people aren't going to take a 10% chance to hit

can this be avoided somehow? like within a certain distance it's always 100%? i stopped playing XCOM 2 because the hit chance mechanic was just extremely unfun to me

Yeah you can get 100% shots. This was 80 at that distance cuz I was using an ability that gives a 20% miss chance but on kill I get the AP back so I can keep firing.

My favorite part of XCOM likes is when the character aims at the target, and then purposefully aims the wrong way to intentionally miss.

I actually earned a Steam achievement for mine which I thought was funny.

funny enought i've go the achievement for a succeed 10% or bellow a shot and the miss a 90% or above shot

And this is why I won’t be playing another xcom game. I’d rather roll digital dice than this system.

Lmao I got the achievement for missing a 90% shot with one character and then used Open Fire as my next move and hit 2 5% shots back to back. I was hollering.

I'm more lucky with 30% than 80%.
