@HelennaRossa Arc Flash involves a huge amount of voltage across (usually) some metal. It usually creates a molten spray of liquified metal. The burst erupts at 1000s of degrees. I’m guessing he was not directly in front. But he’s probably badly burned and hurt.

@HelennaRossa I work on stuff like this all the time and I’m surprised he’s alive. Arc flash can really do some damage. It’s hotter and brighter than the sun.
