While I wouldn't put it past anyone to think that Caine is evil, I have a feeling that he is just as trapped as everyone else is. His purpose is to entertain these people, and despite what happens, he tries his best. If they are not entertained, he has failed his purpose.

I still don't get why people point out Ragatha's scene as a "gotcha" moment too. To me the sauce working on affecting her is like alcohol. It's not Caine affecting their mind, it's the object in the digital world working as intended.

It’s still created by Caine, hence he made something that can in fact alter one’s mind, if he didn’t have at least something akin to that ability Gooseworx would be implying it.

Yes Caine is still the main antagonist of the series and i'm 100% sure he is gonna do bad stuff to the gang when he loses his patience.
