This man barged into my partner today while she was in the McDonalds in Liverpool City Centre while she was trying to get out of the lift with our 2yr old boy!! He became extremely unpredictable and was very intimidating towards her and the staff that had to escort him out. He was drinking what appeared to be alcohol out of a plastic cup and staggering everywhere!! Frightening for her!! He was also seen on another video letting of a fire extinguisher and spraying people outside central station!! This is mental health and addiction at its worst, just beware of this man while you’re out shopping with your family.

The first video only lived on Team Liquid IG stories for the day, so I wanted to post it here to give it a permanent home. What started as simple flat renders turned into a small animations experiment. I used a basic rig and filmed myself as reference (because that’s what animators actually do, reference is everything), and just went for it. The funny part is, once I took that risk, the creative ideas started flowing. Pushing past the safe option is what made this feel more alive and if I hadn’t tried, this videos would never have existed. It’s simple, but I’m genuinely proud of how it turned out, especially since this is far outside my comfort zone. Sometimes the best growth comes from just trying. Today was wild. I was in central Bangkok when the worst earthquake in 30 years hit. I’d just wrapped a catch-up with Saimon, talking about GDC, Web3 gaming, AI etc. After brunch, he left, and I decided to stay behind at the café to get some work in. Ten minutes later, everything started spinning. I thought I was just feeling fatigued. But then the floor swayed. Hard. The waitress ran out and told everyone to evacuate. Outside, I saw a tower across the street literally twisting like Jenga. People started filming. I looked up and thought, are we seriously stopping here to record this? It felt surreal. Then people started running. So I ran too. I was in the busiest part of town, surrounded by glass buildings and traffic. No car. I jumped on a motorbike to get to my son, then switched to a car to head to my mum’s. What should’ve been a short trip took five hours. Worst traffic I’ve ever experienced. Trains were down. Underground shut. Bridges damaged. No clear info , just fake news flying everywhere. My phone was slightly over 10%, but I managed to preserve the last bit of battery to call, navigate, and make sure we got to my mum’s safely. Now that I’m home, I’m still processing it all. Life is strange. One moment you’re talking AI over coffee. The next, you’re running through a city that feels like one wrong move could change everything. I’m grateful we’re okay. But this shook me deeply. Really hope everyone is ok.

Dear Genshin Impact fans, In my nodkrai video I said that Natlan’s music was nice but felt shallow, my mistake in this was not elaborating on why. I said it in passing and didn’t consider the word choice. I’m gathering that people assumed I was referring to the PLACES being represented by the music Which is preposterous because I would never criticize a culture or place, as I’ve always felt that is genshin’s strongest element. I assumed you would know it was obvious I was talking about the musical composition and structure not what that music represented (the people and the places) I’m sorry if you felt that I was spitting in the face of your culture. As a multicultural person myself and soon to be married to a multicultural person as well, I would never ever do that. I am saddened that you may have felt that. That said, subjectively, I felt natlan’s music was nice. But, a bit too easy listening to my taste. Part of the reason I have filmed so many Genshin videos is due to the musical complexity it showcases. Not just in the western soundscape but also in other regions that are represented. You’ll recall I defended this very thing a year ago when the music was representing African culture. At that time I was lambasted on this platform for saying that people of color were not being represented properly in game. I’m perplexed why you would think I’m suggesting the opposite now, even going so far as have people claim I am “racist” which is a bridge too far. In any event, I’m sorry for any hurt feelings. It’s clear to me that if I’m going to say something, I should be clear about what I mean.

this is a tribute post to share the legacy of an artist whose work has changed my life and inspires me everyday, Jun Seba aka Nujabes. Born February 7, 1974, Nujabes was a music producer & DJ from Tokyo, Japan. He came from a family of music lovers and his father’s admiration for jazz served as an inspiration to Seba at a young age. He pursued his education at a Fine Arts school and the people in his life influenced him to explore the vast wonders of what music really is. In a 2003 interview with Sound & Recording Magazine, Seba said… “I started making tracks because I wanted to hear music that sampled the old soul and jazz I liked.” Nujabes in his early years discovered Hip-Hop and was enamored by the art of DJ-ing and breakdancing. Hip-Hop culture was being brought to life in the USA, but its influence seeped across the world and it started to gain popularity in Japan at the time as well. Seba went on to become a crucial figure in Japan’s underground Hip-Hop scene as a DJ, co-creating a label called ‘Hydeout Productions’. His love for music stemmed beyond just creating it. He had his own record store, which he spoke about in the aforementioned 2003 interview. “I recently started up a record store, Tribe, which I see as an extension of Hydeout Productions. Everything at the store is stuff I went and bought overseas myself, and my hope is for people to come in, listen to old records at their leisure, and hopefully feel inspired by those records to make good tracks themselves. That’s another thing I would like to cherish doing in the future—creating those sorts of encouraging environment” This was a genuine testament to the pure love Nujabes had for music and the community that is built as a result. This passion is what fueled the masterpieces we listen to today and it is the reason for him revolutionizing Hip-Hop production. One of his greatest achievements, in my opinion, was his contribution to the soundtrack of ‘Samurai Champloo’ alongside Fat Jon. This soundtrack set Nujabes on center stage. With a fusion of traditional Japanese musical influences, everything he learned as a student of Hip-Hop, and his early love for Jazz music, Nujabes created a new soundscape which set the tone for this acclaimed show, but also epitomized his brilliance as a musician. At a recent Nujabes tribute performance, longtime collaborator and a friend of Nujabes, Fat Jon, said a few words about him… “Our friendship went beyond music. And so yeah, we had fun making music, but we had more fun just doing regular shit in life… Nujabes as a person, separated from the music, he was a cool person.” You can tell everyone that has worked with or around Nujabes has a deep, unwavering admiration for him as a musician, but also as a person and a friend. Although his contributions to the soundtrack shot Nujabes to fame, his discography of solo music is what cemented his legacy as a pioneer of modern music. From his debut ‘Metaphorical Music’, to his most critically acclaimed work ‘Modal Soul’, Nujabes was able to create entire soundscapes by blending all the different things that made him love music in the first place. It would be a disservice to not mention his friends and frequent collaborators who had invaluable contributions to his work. This guy financed a $90K machine he’d never used to start a business he’d never done, in a market he’d never worked in. Now he's on track to do $1M this year with 69% NET profit margins. Yesterday morning, while the Osprey were clearly taking a break, I noticed a group of dragonflies dancing above the water hyacinths. At first, they just looked like dragonflies, darting back and forth through the air. But when I took a closer look through my lens, I realized they weren’t just flying. They were hunting. Tiny insects filled the air, and the dragonflies were capturing them in real time, reaching out with all six legs to snatch and consume them mid-flight. I managed to video one as it caught and ate two insects right there in the sky. It made me stop and wonder… what else is happening all around us that we simply cannot see? Each image or video I capture feels like a thread, one among billions, woven into the fabric of reality. We’ve gone from believing the Earth was the center of everything, to thinking it was flat, to now discovering possible life on planets we may never touch. What’s next? The universe is such a wild and mysterious playground. What saddens me is that asking questions like these can make people uncomfortable. Some might even leave negative comments. But to me, the greatest part of being human is our free will. Our ability to wonder. To reach beyond what we think we know. It’s wise to think outside the box, and wiser still to realize the box itself is still unfolding. And to think, all of this started from watching a dragonfly eat a bug.
