is it just me or we are all building the same over and over and over?

What other tools are you using with similar or same functionality? Curious to learn more

uses a mix of models, this is GPU accelerated C++ kinematics simulation, each part is STL parametric, exposes ports or contact surfaces and the UI shows controls to interact with them for demo

This is incredibly slick! Basically building something custom to my workflow and posting to see if others find it useful! 😅

This is WIP. I am building the autonomous agents platform. As a hobby was testing a differential gear setup for a 6 DOF 3d printable arm. I was looking for coil wiring for the motors when I saw your post. The agents helped me build the library of parametric parts and sim.

If you made this on the first release yes, otherwise I don’t believe it. New fable is nerfed beyond imagination

Built over last 24 hours, what are you trying to make an getting unexpected results?

Yea Fable actually one-shotted a large hardon collider for me

6:1 planetary, 21.6k rpm in, 3.6k rpm out, with bearing specs and STL export. More useful than half the desktop CAD suites I've used.

Nice, which other ones have you used? What features do they have that are missing here?

SolidWorks for years. Fable exports a cleaner planetary STL than anything I managed in Dassault. Still needs assemblies, FEA, GD&T. But for a quick calc? Not even close.

Could you share the initial prompt?

Love this. Great work. Let me know if you want some 80%+ fill factor inrunners to add to the mix.

Moaaz Sidat's profile picture
Moaaz Sidat3 months ago

Yeah definitely outrunner optimized atm, let me see if I can add inrunner support over the weekend

This is amazing. Does the precision improves when you manufacture it (vs the traditional way)? Also Curious to know whether the cost of building this is lower than say Autodesk subscription which has AI embedded?

wow, this is great! less of that vibe-coded look as well, which is important if you want something consumer-facing

A BLDC winding builder from Fable is a pretty niche flex 😄

so what we clearly see is that Fable is targeted around threejs/3d/games. That's what we get most of the results around.

Seeing the winding builder respond instantly is impressive, it should streamline motor design iterations and give clearer performance insights

So... what does the app do? Showing a gear turning?

Moaaz Sidat's profile picture
Moaaz Sidat3 months ago

Lets you create stator models, pull that into winding setup to visualize, and then move onto gearing Try it out!
