Ok, I just adjusted the curvature drastically, does this minimize the motion sickness?

I will do a poll about motion sickness

I think that’s much better. Something slightly more intense than Animal crossing is probably a good model to use for the right intensity of curvature here. I never heard anyone complain about motion sickness in that game

If I search "Animal crossing motion sickness" apparently there are entire Reddit posts talking about it. I didn't know it was a thing

I feel something akin to motion sickness from this, but I think it's because things aren't getting smaller as they become more distant. The combination of keeping things the same size and the rolling effect makes it feel like things actually get bigger as they become further.

With a 3D projection things gets smaller. Do you still feel it?

I didn't get any sense of motion sickness in the first one, but I do think the change makes it look more natural and smoother

I have tested hundreds of hours and never experienced motion sickness. But yeah, I like more this curvature. My only concern is that is less performant as more stuff stays on screen

Have you tried adjusting the camera so that there’s a bit of dead space where you have to move past a certain point vertically up or down before the rotation starts? It seems like the camera’s locked pretty tight at the moment (though I can see the character does move past it).

Yes, I will also try something like this later. Maybe after I come back from work

oh totally !!
