It just proves that you can't make video games or any tech really without insanely detail oriented White guys.

There is a reason a majority of modern games feel so soulless; we all feel nostalgia for games like this, and even many teenagers adore things like Skyrim and Halo. This video exemplifies much of why that is

This is “white people stuff” turned all the way up. I’ve never even played the game but I could watch this for hours.

So many good things like this have been built by softly-spoken, passionate men.

I still hope someone ports the unique landscapes series of mods. They were insanely pretty and made the regions much more distinct. Overall I think the smart move would be to curate the best mods for the OG and incorporate them in the game.
