yea i just bought them recently after demoing a buncha open backs and while i loved the utopia i couldn't justify paying that much for it LOL so i went with the clear instead (which i loved just about as much)

based on my experience in a store demo setting (i didn't get to do a ton of a/b testing in a relatively quiet environment) is that while the clear def felt warmer to me, it had a couple of treble pain points for me that i had to eq down now that i have it at home the utopia meanwhile felt generally more neutral overall and the treble worked better for me as well that i prob would've been good with it out of the box - plus it def felt noticeably more resolving with all that said however the price difference definitely did not justify said pros for me which is why i went with the clear instead perhaps someday when i have more disposable income to entertain the idea i'd think about it again 🤣

yea in my case in particular i had to do some narrow filters to bring down 8khz and 11khz everything's nice and dandy now but yeah definitely a demo first headphone i think, especially since i know some people who don't experience these peaks on their head
