I was planning to install a bunch of tablets in every room of my house so we can control the smart home, music etc... after watching this, it seems like such an ancient idea. give me weather, homekit, and music widgets all around me pls

I could do this 8 years ago with HoloLens, including automatic room mapping, hand gestures, and apps pinned to any area of the house. The difference being that Microsoft has no clue as to how to market to consumers and systematically abandons great ideas after launch.
