just published a figma plugin for the cmyk halftone editor! originally made this as a separate website for a figma hackathon and it felt weird not having it as a plugin there too, so here it is link in the comments↴

POV…making the Figma logo on the biggest screen imaginable. This has been a rad project to be a part of!

Page dividers in Figma is a feature I’m badly missing. Seeing how many projects in the community use the “hack” on the left makes me think I’m not the only one. And yes, this is a Figma prototype of... Figma.

QuantizedMesh support has been added to 3DTilesRenderer thanks to another grant from Cesium! The plugin supports normals, water masks, tile skirts, & "just works" with Cesium Ion. Support for texture overlays in progress! 🌎✨ #threejs #3dtiles #javascript #gis #nasajpl

Building a mobile app ui SHOULD be this easy. 1. Design in Figma 2. Open ExpressionUI plugin 3. Export the render data (not code) Display your UI in Flutter, React-Native, SwiftUI, or Kotlin. No generated code for you to maintain or edit. Expression UI plugin in progress Built with Flutter using Stacked 👀 #buildinpublic

The only nitpick I have with Halo that made me pause long enough to care saying anything about is this subtle texture artifact on some assets. My guess is a procedural noise texture is feeding the material's roughness input (which controls how glossy or matte the surface appears). The noise texture is sampling world space instead of object space. So as the Covenant canister moves, it "swims" through the noise field, making the roughness pattern slide across the surface instead of staying locked to the mesh. It's a tiny thing most players will never notice but fuck man years of staring at material graphs have permanently damaged my ability to properly enjoy shiny objects.

If you like the size and padding of your Figma sections to be *just right* check out the "Wrap in section" plugin by andrei alikimovich! Super handy!
