I gave Cline Desktop app a repo with 3 intentional vulnerabilities. Hardcoded password. SQL injection. Shell injection. I gave it a cron job “Scan this codebase every night. Flag the issue, severity, risk, and fix.” At 2 AM, the agent ran the scan while I was asleep. All 3 vulnerabilities were caught. But the interesting part came next. → Asked it to fix the SQL injection with parameterized queries → Reverted to the pre-fix checkpoint → Forked the session → Asked for the most conservative fix possible And it all runs inside Cline Desktop - an open-source app for open-weight models. Hugging Face is the open model hub: it hosts model weights, datasets, evals, & demo apps, and maintains the open-source libraries (like transformers) used to run and train them. I think of it like GitHub, but for AI models. You can download open models and run them on your own machines. In this series we'll cover what open source and open weight models are, how they work, how to run them yourself, and why they're important. By the way - this video is edited entirely with Claude! Here's what you can do: 1. Create a remote connection to an always-on desktop PC through the ChatGPT Desktop app (I have a Linux box in my basement) 2. Customize the ChatGPT iOS widget and add a remote voice connection 3. Tap the widget. It will open a voice chat in ChatGPT Work/Codex, on your desktop, with access to your files and all your apps. This is the setup that changed everything for me, Claude can now browse the internet on its own. Not with your browser. Its own dedicated browser.. It can now login with your credentials, scrape data, monitors communities and generates leads.. all in the background while you sleep First how you can set it up, > Open Claude Desktop > Click the plus (+) icon in the chat bar and select Connectors (or "Manage Connectors") > Click Add Custom Connector and enter the following details - Name: Firecrawl - URL: dev/{FIRECRAWL_API_KEY}/v2/mcp - API Key: Paste your API key from the Firecrawl dashboard. > Click Add. then just enable and Authorize, > Once added, find "Firecrawl" in your connectors list and toggle it on. > Claude will ask for approval to use the connector; select Always Allow to let it run tasks without prompting you every time can start using it normally in chat now..
