Okay, this has apparently become hotly-debated, so let’s do this. Fat people on planes, should they have to buy a second seat?

Or maybe we have a "fats" section. If you spill over your seat, that's a problem. But flying is uncomfortable even in a row of skinny people.

If you can’t fit within the confines of your seat then yes you should have to pay for the seat(s) of which you hang over into.

As a fat dude I always get a window seat and buy the one next to me as well. Also always get a row that has no seats in front of me just for the leg room. I would do this even if I was small i dont like people and dont want sit shoulder to shoulder.

What about a fat section?

They'd have to be distributed through the plane for ballast reasons.

That and or the one putting up with the over weight person should get compensation

The bullshit part is, my bag can weigh 51lbs and I get charged however much for it. Then a 300lb person can get on the plane, where is the difference in my bag being 1lb over but they don’t get charged a surplus? They should weigh people as well. That would change things.
