I am definitely saving this recipe for when I move down south to serve to my new neighbors. I would do it in a different order. I would make the custard first then the bananas and then the puff pastry in the glass. I don't need the coffee with chocolate. Is this a recipe you would use? It looks delicious!.

The name is questionable. The dessert is UNREAL. 🍋😂 DowellCooks This lemon posset recipe is stupid easy, requires almost no effort, and somehow tastes like it came from a high-end restaurant. Would you try a recipe with a name like this… or nah?

Time for another recipe from my new cookbook Nights Out In The Kitchen. This time, Basque Cheesecake, which I first tried at Brat back in the day. This recipe is courtesy of James Jocky Petrie and it’s a cracker. You can order the book at the link below.

If I were to write a love letter to this dish, here’s what it would say...🤫 Dear Summer Squash, You arrive every year like that friend who shows up unannounced with too much luggage—but somehow, we always make room. You’re not glamorous or photogenic, but you ask for so little and give so much. You play well with others and are infinitely versatile. This recipe isn’t really a recipe—it’s a tradition passed down through generations. @ashley_christensen taught me her family’s version: squash, onions, butter, time, olive oil. That’s it. No fancy techniques, just a few basic ingredients. Here’s where it gets good: the leftovers become pasta gold when stuffed in shells topped with parm and a whisper of summer tomatoes. This iteration is somehow better than the last. So next time someone offers you a bag of squash, say YES. Watch me make this simple summertime pasta that’s been on repeat in my kitchen, recipe is at the link in my bio.

This is the green bean casserole recipe I use. Not even kidding it’s simply the best. The sauce is so good and easy to make. Trust me this one is garlicky and rich and savory. And it has that certain flavor that will make this your new favorite side.
