Six Savannah Police Department employees have been fired, and are all under investigation for misuse of flock camera data.. four of them are police officers, using the technology to harass families. One actually used it to follow, and harass her ex-husband‘s new wife. Technology is a double edged sword, and unfortunately, in the wrong hands it always gets misused, and it’s always the innocent people that suffer.

Some really unpleasant statistics about these flock cameras. A number of police departments have been using them to track people, harass people, and stalk people, including three in Georgia that stalked ex-girlfriend’s, and ex-wives. Garrett Langley the CEO is attempting to put a good spin on it by saying he’s learned, and he’s growing and they’re going to try and change things so as to reduce police misuse. I think that genie is already out of the bottle. Luckily, some police departments are taking down the cameras. I’ll be back.

Just found this story so hurting. This lady was raped by a police officer because she was found walking at night and didn't have 100k. She reported the case to the police, same police of the officer. There was a camera in the area which caught everything but police refused to show the victim that footage. Officers, this isn't right.
