Back in my day, we ladies floated down the river and met nice people. One time we had a group of cowboys help us when we needed to portage. All of us became friends. The above scene does not look familiar

I floated the Guadalupe River off River Road for decades and we stopped about 8 yrs ago because it was no longer the floaters having fun and laughs with strangers, the Red Dirt country turned into stupid rap and the the majority of floaters turned into fat slobs talking shit.
