I sued the federal government to demand they use available funds to continue SNAP benefits during the shutdown — and we won. But here’s the problem: USDA said they will only fund half the program, and following their plan could take months to drive those dollars out — leaving millions without the assistance they need. And just now, Trump said he intentionally won’t send out SNAP payments until the federal shutdown ends.
