Despite all their threats against Peter Obi and his supporters in Lagos state, despite all the threats from desperate landlords, Baales, CDC chairman, agberos, APC members against supporting any other party outside the APC, attending political rallies outside that of the APC, and supporting anyone outside Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday they were taken by surprise by the number of persons who turned out for the NDC primaries across the state. The crowd was unprecedented and unbelievable in different locations across lagos. The message was very simple and clear. Their threats did not work, Peter Obi still have his support base intact in lagos state, and the NDC with Peter Obi as presidential candidate will still defeat Tinubu in 2027 in lagos state, and also win several of the National Assembly seats on Peter Obi's political wave. Since yesterday, the people who issued these threats have been restless. They have been holding meetings to discuss the massive turnout the NDC primaries recorded. If primaries can be this crowdy without any financial inducement or vote buying for NDC aspirants, how will the 2027 election be when Obi's name will be on the ballot. These old men and agberos have been worried. Now that the NDC primaries are over in Lagos state, it is time for NDC to prepare for their future threats. NDC must be prepared to resist and counter any form of threats from these old desperate corrupt men. If Tinubu is popular than Peter Obi in lagos state as claimed, you don't need to threaten anyone to vote for him. If Tinubu has performed creditably well as claimed by you idiots, then you don't need to threaten anyone to support or vote for him. If Tinubu is so loved by Lagosians and Nigerians as you all claimed, you don't need to threaten anyone to go back to Anambra. Let his performance in government campaign for him. Let his love speak for him. This is not 2023, when obi votes were intentionally reduced in Lagos state. When obi supporters and non-indigenes were intentionally stopped and denied from voting. This is not 2023 when innocent voters were attacked, injured and killed because they don't support APC. They should know that In this current NDC of 2027 .....

As an Obidient in 2023, I know enough to tell you that Peter Obi and his Labour Party rigged heavily in the Southeast through underage voting and mass thumb printing on unused ballot papers. You cannot even dare to vote for APC in the Southeast because you will be seen as an enemy and treated like one. People stand around the thumb printing booths to ensure you are voting for Peter Obi. The Igbos were ruthless in 2023. In Lagos, there was an urge and desire to win at all costs, so there was a massive push that saw many Igbo INEC officials deployed to the state. This gave the Labour Party access to election sensitive materials like ballot booklets. Even if they could not win the election, they just wanted to win Lagos to stamp their claim that “Lagos is a no man’s land.”

Politicians will always be politicians This is why I am not easily moved by mumu outrage online. Peter Obi says he is visiting victims of last year's Yelwata massacre. His whole body is campaign billboard of NDC. And he was moving with a battalion of press people. But he says it's not political. 😂 Obi has not visited Lilu Community or Azia or Orsumoghu, all in Anambra State, his home state. They have all experienced the horror of insecurity in the hands of IPOB (never mind that Obi said IPOB have not done anything wrong). You won't see Obi in Oru in Imo State or even ordinary Ihiala or Mgbidi. So, while I condemn every form of violence against people, it is also necessary that politicians like Obi tone down the hypocrisy and desperation to milk the misfortune of communities for political gains so as not to attract this type of political response from people who understand the game. Obi obviously has been looking for a scene of tragedy to visit and "console" but since there is no new massacre and that the intensity of insecurity has been ebbing considerably over the past two months, he decides to return to Yelwata, Benue for photo ops. We all know what we are doing...
