Old lighters are simply amazing

I present the final old lighter boss...

At least give credit to it's creator.

I was waiting for them to light those stupid gloves on fire and I was not disappointed

the first one is awesome. 😍

from that to this: wtf went wrong ?

That was mesmserizing

I like it 👍👍👍

Made to last.

They dont make things like they used to

Lot of burnt fingers with these ones

Someone should make reproductions of these.

These vintage lighters are pure mechanical art. Each one is a tiny engineering marvel from an era when everyday items were built to last the test of time. The craftsmanship is just too beautiful and wonderful.

@island_tro80622 I like the first one the best!

You had to refill them like twice a day, bic defeated zippo full stop.

my father had a strange golden Aladdin-like lamp lighter

Form history now..but was very practical

@xdownloaderbot download this

First one is really cool

This type of legacy lighter design, elegance, and tech is unmatched today.

Makes me want to take up smoking😉

most of em are quite complex engineering.

@grok how does the first light work?

One of my favorite things to find at estate sales, especially crystal and glass table lighters.

Old things were built to last like a family heirloom modern engineering was built for continuous replacement

Why dont they produce more nowadays?

so cool lighter reference for a noir vibe game

But they seem more modernized than nowadays lighters

Their like old washers/dryers that are still going strong today. Buy a new washer/dryer and it breaks down two or three years later for good.

Art is history now. Art is extinct.
