Don't you wish we had reporters like that in 2020? JUST TO scrutinize any drugs....?

When patents for name brand medicines expire, the price of that medicine drops significantly as generic versions enter the market, but that process can take a while. Watch a new video in STAT's 'Behind the Counter' series:

@Testaclease5 Years back we rubbed DMSO on our horses. The old cowboys rubbed it on their knees.

I'm glad you discovered it. Be careful. It can help things cross the blood brain barrier.... some things don't need to cross that.

Wasn't that was used as a horse liniment back in the 70s? When it was found it worked on people, all of a sudden, it wasn't available to the general public.

What is DMSO?

@TranslateMom ARABIC

What did they do?! It appears they switched the sulfoxide molecules and replaced them with sodium to create and sell a new product. I'm no doctor or pharmacist. Please correct me if I am wrong! Sodium is not a cure for inflammation, but it will cover up the symptoms for a little while. It may even may it worse in the long run. Where have we heard this before? 😡
