Lots of newspaper advertisements and advertisements in online job portals in West Bengal about jobs in West Bengal are now mentioning various things like Bengali is not allowed, Marwari or Bihari only, Hindi speaking only, etc. Both of these phenomena of calling Bengalis as foreigners in West Bengal for speaking Bengali and not Hindi, and also saying that Bengalis will not be recruited for jobs in West Bengal, and that some other communities will be given jobs. Both of these are criminal offences and these criminal acts are only spreading day by day in West Bengal... In West Bengal, Bengalis are being attacked, discriminated, beaten up, and threatened because of their own ethnicity, identity and language in their own homeland which has been formed on the basis of the Bangla language. West Bengal has been formed on the basis of the Bengali language, and they are also getting beaten up in other states for speaking Bengali... People who believe in the constitution of India should unite and stop these attacks on sons of the soil in the name of language. And one should make clear that Bengali is a language of India.
