Last week in Harrison, Arkansas, 16-year-old Brayden Anderson was with a group of friends when a gun being handled by another boy accidentally discharged. Brayden was struck and killed. The young man holding that weapon has since been charged with negligent homicide. Tomorrow, Brayden will be laid to rest. His father, Aaron, has invited everyone to Brayden’s Celebration of Life. The community. The first responders who were on scene that day. Every teenager who was in that room when Brayden was killed. Everyone. He has made it clear that there will be no hatred, no hostility and no pointing fingers. Tonight, I watched this video of Aaron saying he forgives the boy who was holding the gun. “Two lives were destroyed that day… We still have a chance to save one.” That stopped me. This man is preparing to bury his 16-year-old son, and he is worried about the boy who accidentally killed him. He knows that boy will carry this for the rest of his life, and he doesn’t want this tragedy to destroy what remains of it. I don’t know if I could do what Aaron is doing. I look at the way he is walking through the unimaginable, and I see a Christ-centered life in a way I can only dream of living one day. There is something incredibly humbling about watching someone live out the faith I profess when it costs this much. Please watch his video. And please pray. Pray for Aaron and his family as they lay Brayden to rest tomorrow. Pray for the kids who were in that room. Pray for the first responders who answered that call. And please pray for the young man who was holding that gun. Aaron is asking us to. I think we should. 🙏

Young Americans no longer see the point in working. Everything is so expensive, they see no future “There's no reward for our work anymore,” younger generations have no hope, they’re “betting on the world to end” “How are we gonna do this for the rest of our lives? And I just have to say low key. I feel like a lot of young people right now in the workforce, I see comments all the time that are like, I'm betting on the world to end. It's like, yeah, me too. Like, how f*cked up of an economy, of a society, of a country are we living in right now? That you're young people, you're new to the workfor force, Young people are basically, like — There's no reward for our work anymore. What's the reward like? Oh, you get to go to sleep at night and then wake up a couple hours later and get back on the grind, like, literally every single morning. I'm like, can't a meteor just hit the building I work at and none of us have to go? It'd be great for everyone, like, can't a massive lightning strike just take out the whole building” “Also, I don't want to see. I don't want to see one boomer in my comments being like, oh, you guys think you have it so bad? We had it so much worse than you. Okay, listen, Every generation goes through their own struggles, right? Okay? But statistically speaking, you could buy a house, support three children while your wife stayed home working at f*cking Michael's craft store. That doesn't exist anymore. In order to make a comfortable living wage to support your family, to support your wife, staying home with your kids, you got to make at least 100 grand a year, at least, and who makes that? Because nobody wants to offer that.”

WATCH: MS NOW's Luke Russert calls the UFC White House event a "debacle" and "disgusting event", and urges those who feel "it's not a good time to celebrate the country" to let the Obama Presidential Center "speak for you": LUKE RUSSERT: You think about the week we've had. SANDERS-TOWNSEND: Talk about it, Luke. RUSSERT: And you had the UFC just- SANDERS-TOWNSEND: Debacle. RUSSERT: This debacle- disgusting event that was on The White House grounds on Sunday night. And then on Juneteenth, this Obama presidential library is going to open. And that's to some degree, the story of America is in there. And President Obama had always said that the greatness of America was that a guy like him could become President. And that is something that I think that this Center will immortalize forever. The promise of America resides there. And I look at it and I'm thinking and watching that clip with Michele, which is so wonderful. Think of the empathy that came from this man. And he did that every single evening. His way of connecting with average Americans. We don't see that anymore at all. (CROSSTALK) RUSSERT: We don't care about the average Americans anymore. And I'll just say this. For a lot of people who might be feeling that America 250 is just not getting off on the right foot, it's not a good time to celebrate this country, let this moment speak for you. Because this is something that every American can be proud of. Because this is a rare thing to happen in a very young country and in the world leading democracy, who we hope to be the leading democracy.

.Douglas Murray to Piers Morgan: “The thing that struck me, Piers, about seeing the 7th of October footage, was that even the Nazis were actually ashamed of what they did. SS battalions who spent their days shooting Jews in the back of the head and pushing them into trenches, had to get very, very drunk in the evening to forget what they had done. The Nazi high command had to famously sort of get around the problem of soldier morale because the soldiers knew this wasn’t exactly what their lives were meant to look like either. “I tell you one very big difference. If you look at the raw footage—and I really hope people don’t on a wider scale have to view what I viewed the other day—if they see it, they will see something that is at least as barbaric as what the Nazis did. “But here’s the difference: They did it with glee. They were deeply proud. You see people taking the head off a young Israeli man with a shovel and then calling their parents back in Gaza and telling them, father, father, … I’ve killed ten Jews in my hands, get mother on the phone, I want to tell her how great a job their son has done. “I’m not exaggerating this. It’s very, very interesting. People need to realize you had this situation with the Nazis where they were also a genocidal anti-Semitic organization. But they tried to cover their crimes up. “Hamas [is] actually proud of them, and they’ve said they will do them until the whole world is clear of Jews. “So I suggest we take that seriously, and I think Israel is taking it seriously. I hope they continue to take it seriously. But I think the world should take it seriously.”
