O’Leary’s right about China’s theft and the need to reset trade—but slapping 400% tariffs while policy flip-flops daily isn’t strategy, it’s chaos. The original mission to protect American workers was sound, but the execution’s become a circus. Exempting semiconductors one day then threatening tariffs the next paralyzes supply chains, spikes consumer costs, and undermines U.S. credibility. Trade tools should force compliance, not create volatility. Fix the dysfunction, lock in terms, and stop letting bureaucratic whiplash sabotage the mission.

What is the “thing”? I understand the United States was headed to sharecropper status in the trade economy and action was needed but what is the “thing” specifically and not in abstract fairness terms?

Both Megan and Kevin are missing the biggest point… Trump‘s own administration is saying he doesn’t know whether he wants to accept deals or not. He envisions a world where we charge high tariffs for the foreseeable future. Trump keeps selling this Mirage that America was most successful back in the mid 1800s when we had large tariffs on everything.

It is really at its basic level Trump derangement syndrome. The president has nominated phenomenal attorneys to be U.S. Attorneys and you have judges/senators who have said: no we're not even going to talk to them…

We now have a situation where Democrats are pushing hard to release the Epstein client list and bring about justice for elite pedophiles. Not because they care about children but because their Trump Derangement Syndrome has driven them straight down the rabbit hole. Trump just confirmed that he never went to the island and that Bill Clinton and other Harvard associates went to the island repeatedly. This, of course, will not be enough to satiate the Democrats. Let them keep going. This is exactly what we wanted as OG "conspiracy theorists." We wanted these causals to wake up to what's been going on from the elite in our society and now their hatred for Trump has inexplicably become the catalyst. I don't see how this won't backfire on the Democrat party given the fact that Trump never went to the island and it was shut down during his tenure. Trump made it just suspicious enough to get everyone talking and now everyone is deep down the rabbit hole. Does it not seem like Trump is baiting them into this? Let's see what happens.
