Minister for the Interior and Inspector General of Police, I respectfully call on you to reopen investigations into the Kawukudi incident that occurred two years ago, in which individuals who were part of the Chief Imam's convoy allegedly clashed with officers of the Ghana Police Service. If any persons committed criminal offences during that incident, they should be identified through the available evidence, arrested, and prosecuted in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Justice must be applied equally to everyone, regardless of status, influence, or religious affiliation. No one should be above the law. I respectfully urge you to ensure that this matter is handled impartially and in the interest of justice and public confidence in the rule of law. Ministry of the Interior, Ghana Ghana Police Service

As a concerned citizen and member of the New Patriotic Party, I believe that destruction of property under the guise of protest is unacceptable and must be condemned. The Ghana Police Service has assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order during protests. I implore them to take swift action and bring the culprits to justice. The youth of the New Patriotic Party will not tolerate chaos on our streets, and we expect the police to uphold their mandate to protect citizens and property.
