Oliver Tree talked about exploring death and displays imagery of himself falling and dying in his music, especially in his first album. He revealed that he did this to process everyone he has lost in the past and to prepare himself for his own death🥀🕊️ “It’s like what happens after life. So as an artiste it’s something that I ponder and to process the thoughts especially cos I’ve lost people in my life when I was younger and it was pretty heavy duty for me, that what always a big thing cos I’m like what happens after life—and almost in a way preparing myself for my own death.”

Late Oliver Tree’s close friend KSI went live on TikTok to speak about what he believes could have been a factor surrounding Oliver’s death. He stated that a day before Oliver passed away, Oliver sent him an anxious message saying that Atlantic Records was allegedly after him and that he didn’t feel safe. He claimed during the live stream: “Oliver was one of my closest friends I’ve ever had in the industry. He was so genuine, kind-hearted, and always joked around with the boys. It feels heartbreaking knowing he’s gone like that because his death feels so strange to me. On Saturday, I received a text from him saying he was scared for his life and that he felt his life was at risk. He said that ever since he publicly called out Atlantic Records, he had been receiving death threats. I’ve never seen him text me like that before, and now it’s all starting to make sense. I just feel like his death is strange, and a proper investigation should be carried out because I’m really struggling to cope with this loss.”

Destiny Boy’s Mom explains the cause of his death - According to his mum, a few days before the arrival of his child, he was on his way with his dad to pick up a cow when he suddenly held his head and collapsed - He was rushed to the hospital, but his herbalist insisted that nothing must happen to him - Destiny was then taken to his herbalist’s place, where she bathed him - She described Destiny’s illness as “Oku Oru” and urged people not to chase clout with his death - She said that whenever the sickness occurred, he would have seizures, and when he got better, he would start running around like someone with a mental illness. This was kept secret because they didn’t want people to know that side of him - She claimed he had been taken to different churches, alfas, and herbalists - Two weeks ago, his father took him to the herbalist again because he fell ill, only for her to be informed two days ago that he was having seizures again - The herbalist and his father rushed him to the hospital, where he passed away - She also said a doctor prescribed drugs for him; she bought them, but Destiny used them only once and stopped - She explained that her son was never poisoned and did not die at his herbalist’s place May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️
