A good street journalist talks to people, digs up a story, researches and writes. You know his byline. You don’t know about him. You know what s/he writes about. This Olivia Nuzzi thing - it’s a performance. The fact that Tim Miller mentions the death of her parents next to a sleazy non-affair with RFK tells you a lot. It’s just unserious. Befitting this society actually. This woman is engaging in a self-indulgent performance, just trying to be center of her own drama - and begging you to watch. And it works in this kind of society.
