We're not making the next openclaw we've been building something like JARVIS for almost a year now 👀

@ollama No. And definitely not in these markets lmao. Maybe q4 when we go enterprise we'd have an ico for funding and scaling

This is amazing , lower entry window so more people can sleep and wake up and have a project catalog partially completed. Gamechanger, great work ollama squad! Surprised indeed✨

Maybe a dumb question, but: How do local hardware requirements scale with subagent use? Even if they can all run via a single unified model load, their split context should multiply VRAM/RAM needs, right? And how much does token gen rate slow when it’s split across subagents?

Parallelizing subagents for long-context tasks is a game changer for local dev. Being able to run research and code reviews simultaneously without cluttering the main context window is exactly what we needed. 🚀 #Ollama #OpenCode

Subagents + parallel context handling = real productivity unlock. This isn’t about running models locally. It’s about orchestrating cognitive workload.

subagents in opencode is smart. parallelization is where local models compete — spin up 8 agents on one machine with zero API costs, and for refactoring or code review a 70B model handles it fine. research and refactoring are embarrassingly parallel. each agent gets a file, works independently, you merge results. the coordination overhead is near zero for most of it

This is huge for local AI development. Running subagents with longer context windows locally opens up so many possibilities for research and code work.

Started working last week? I noticed it in ollama cloud.

I'll have to experiment here, I use multiple ollama instances to parallel tasks. This might be a useful addition.

Awesome. When is the qwen3.5 bug that gives the 500 error slated to be fixed?

Sorr about that! What version of Ollama are you on?

.17.1 and .17.4. I’ve seen people reporting the issue on GitHub, so I’ll just wait.

subagents for long context tasks like refactoring is the use case people keep underestimating, you stop paying the attention degradation cost when you split the work across parallel agents

You are just making up concepts at this point. Agents can parallelize subagents. Infinite loop. For what…? What is anyone actually building? @Replit which NOBODY uses bullying me for trying to help them. Quite literally fake company. Support @Cloudflare @CloudflareDev.

We are three updates away from subagents hiring their own subagents to attend the meetings we are already skipping

Isn’t any way to download the model offline? If I have an offline server and I don’t want to connect it online? Thank you

@grok what is opencode? Is it sort of like openclaw but less API reliant?
