Omarchy is very good and you probably shouldn't install it

Love your content man. Don't always agree, but it's always solid. Hype aside, I've been enjoying omarchy, revived a couple old laptops and made them feel new again. Tinkering at this point, but I do like where they're going. I'm likely going to keep running apple as primary

I’ve never liked MacOS coming from windows and Linux, Mac just seemed hard to adopt. I would say the same thing about Omarchy. Though it does run great on old hardware, makes it feel snappy and new. There is a learning curve to adoption. That said, I prefer it over Windows 11.

To be fair, I'm a 30 years + Windows ONLY user and as a dual boot off of an old External SSD I had lying about I've been having an absolute blast using Omarchy, I absolutely HATE MacOS but as a gentle onramp to a Linux distro Omarchy has been 👌 chef's kiss! I customized the shit out of it and will definitely stick around to see where this goes! @dhh

That was exactly my thinking. Tried it months ago, loved it for what it is, tinkered around and found myself back on my macbook the next day. Gonna check out this new release as soon as i have the time tho!

Windows and Mac are garbage OS's. Peak OS experience was Windows 7. Someone needs to bring back that. OpenAI have been pumping functionality into its harness and Codex app. Honestly feels hard to justify trying all of these tools when I can do 90% of what I need from their app
