This is incredible! Congratulations, and thank you for your hard work. Question if you have time: I have a M1 Max MacBook Pro 16 inch that's connected to a CalDigit TS5 Plus thunderbolt Dock. The dock is connected via display port to a 6K ultra wide Dell display, set to 6144 by 2560 at 60 Hz (set as if the screen were 3072 by 1280). Will I be able to replicate these settings with this release? Thank you again for the work you and the team are doing.

I would say it's 95% that your dock will work and the resolution will be supported I've done testing on Cal Digit TS3, TS4 and i think @buildwithdjdev has tested with TS5!

That you for your quick reply! To clarify, do you think it would work at 60Hz? Some additional information you may find useful: I installed Omarchy via dual boot on the same computer I believe around the time the Omarchy M Team was publicly announced. Also installed the fairy dust code as well in order to get the same resolution and refresh rate, and it did work, but only via the port closest to the power plug on the MacBook Pro, and not through the dock. I believe the dock was only partially supported at the time, and I have a lot of peripherals connected to it (external drives, 10 Gig ethernet, etc.) so despite the fact I absolutely love the philosophy and design of Omarchy, I ultimately had to move back to macOS. I also installed Omarchy via dual boot a few weeks later on a M1 Max Mac Studio, but even with the fairy dust code I couldn't get the same resolution working directly from the blessed port on the Mac. Thank you and the rest of the team, again, for all your hard work. Couldn't be more excited to migrate!

I believe it would work, yeah. I've been running 4k120 via TB5 dock in TB4 mode (since M2 Pro supports that much). I also have accessories like drives and Ethernet hooked up through it, so that's expected to work as well Unlike fairydust, you should be able to hotplug displays and it should just work.

@SiliconForested Thank you very much for the reply! Was the announcement today for the public stable version, or an announcement that it's just around the corner? Wondering whether I should install now or wait for potentially a few more days?

@SiliconForested Sorry, "We are about to launch". Will wait a bit longer! Thanks again for all the work you guys do, truly appreciated.

hall of fame moment in linux history. this couldn't be more perfect.

M3 GPU support??

Keep hammering Chris!

Amazing work!

Thank goodness for Chris' work to pull everything together and to bring the discipline to make it stable!

Nice job Chris

Thanks, Wes Studio Display support included 💪💪

Glad others will be able to benefit. Was a solid couple days work deep in kernel land. Learned a lot 😃

I want my O-Mar-Chy!

Working on getting my 2026 Studio Display XDR fully working via TB5 cable right now. Exciting stuff.

I think we might have this working on omacom/linux-aurora ! Cc @ncfrontiersman

@losslessenjoyer Yep should be, just need someone to merge the PR unless it was included in what you merged Chris.

@losslessenjoyer I sincerely hope that's the case I will double check 😂

@losslessenjoyer 🙏 hahah

@losslessenjoyer Could never get anyone to respond to me on my pr for the on screen display controls so that may not be merged yet. PR has been sitting for a couple weeks.

@losslessenjoyer 😳so many moving pieces! Will look today

All that hard work is paying off... Cha-CHING!

Great work all, looking forward to trying it out!

i just learned so much!

Amazing 🤩 Congratulations 🎊🍾

𝕏 needs a double like feature. This work is *so* appreciated!

Can’t wait to try it on my M1 Pro

Great promo video idea 🎸
You gonna get that virtualization game up to qubesOS levels…?

M3 Max ready for install….

Can’t wait 🔥

EPIC!!

omarchy is BTFO of everyone man this is so based

ty

Nice. I have a M1 MB Air that I basically stopped using because it's running a OS I don't like, and I get more use out of a 11 year old running Omarchy. Can't wait to try it out.

can you make it work on a MacBook neo eventually too? Appreciate cha. 😁😄
Don’t forget to push dual 4k at 240 FPS from my Apple silicone! 🤘🏼🙏🏽

How is this different from omarchy-mac on asahi? Excited to get more folks on m* chips so we can all help get software ported too. The omarchy train just keeps picking up speed!

Well…. Brilliant!
