Several Conover Cover Girl models appear in this film, including highest-paid model at the time, Anita Colby. Harry Conover, founder of one of the top leading model agencies, also served as advisor for the film. The title of the film stems from Conover's original concept and famous trademark “Cover Girl” (condensed from the phrase “Conover Cover Girl”). His model agency was so successful that his models appeared most often on the covers of magazines and advertisements. The Sin Trade 追恶 [2026] Directed By: Cheng Siyi Finally caught up to this. Part of the new school of Action directors in Mainland China, Cheng Siyi has been making a name of for himself over the past few years. Especially with his 2024 film "Desperado". So far, this is his best output, since he got a fellow director and action choreographer to do the action direction for this film. And when you get a combo like that you sure are going to get a banger. Plenty of action in this film about human trafficking and with the case with Chinese DTV that's usually one of the themes they go with on thier output. Drugs, Human trafficking or Sniper Films, lol. This is currently streaming the West and East on iQIYI. This scene is edited BTW to cut out the drama.

😨: Assamese Film goes wild, shows Gay couple kissing‼️ This has to be one of the most ‘explicit’ films in the Assamese film industry where the film chose to openly show a gay couple kissing on screen. ‘Satya: The Truth’ - a film directed by Rupjyoti Borthakur, and written by Chandan Talukdar portrays a gay love story. A young ball falls in love with a successful businessman. The film features popular actor Utpal Das along with Rakesh Baruah - who played the role of gay in the film. In this video clip, both of them can be seen in an intimate scene. This comes as an ice-break for the industry as a whole as Assamese Film Industry has always been conservative about the content it shows. While some applaud the makers for taking it up as a bold step, some criticise it because of is ‘too explicit’. On another hand, the film narrates a story to normalise homosexuality in society and that it should not be considered alien but should show acceptance towards the same.

Previously, the administrative oversight of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) was handled through the Ministry of National Security. We have now formally established a Ministry of Defence within the Office of the Prime Minister. This means the JDF is administered directly through that Ministry to ensure stronger coordination at the highest level. We made this change during Hurricane Melissa to improve speed, clarity, and unified decision-making. We also moved Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) into the Office of the Prime Minister so disaster response and defence operations work in full alignment. The relief phase has ended, recovery is nearly complete, and we are now entering reconstruction. Throughout every phase, the JDF has been present, supporting communities, protecting citizens, and ensuring continuity of government. As we look to the new budget year, the Government stands ready to support the JDF’s plans to strengthen maritime and airlift capabilities, because these are national assets that help us secure and serve Jamaica.

Prisoner of War [2025] Directed By: Louis Mandylor So far like I mentioned a few times here these past few months this is my action film of the year so far and one of Scott Adkins finest work since Avengement [2019] his acting, combat approach and just his overall character in this film is just great. The OST and sound design in this film is just too good. An interesting take on WW2 where they used POW's as entertainment by the Japanese soldiers but James Wright (Scott Adkins) is no ordinary soldier and has very interesting background regarding his skills. I highly recommend doing a double feature with Showdown in Little Tokyo. Because Mark Lester mentioned at the QA over at BIG BAD FILM FEST about his cut of that film (Hopefully it gets picked up) that is very similar to what you see here. This is captured from the upcoming Blu-Ray from Well Go USA Entertainment that drops on Nov.11. Much love to them. #PrisonerofWar

On this day, 60 years ago, Kihachi Okamoto's "The Sword of Doom" (1966) was released in Japan. Tatsuya Nakadai on the story of "Sword of Doom" (1966) & how he felt after filming the climax: "Interviewer: The climax of “Sword of Doom” is so chilling and it’s all carried by your energy and stamina. This was a hard film for you to shoot. Can you recall what shooting this climactic final scene was like? 'Sword of Doom' was shot in 1966, when I was 33 years old. It was directed by the great Kihachi Okamoto. He and I made several films together. He’s known for making comedies with a light touch … happy films. But 'Sword of Doom' is, of course, a tragedy. The film was based on a very famous novel in Japan. It was adapted to film three times; ours was the last adaptation. It was written by an author named Kaizan Nakazato. He was actually a newspaper reporter for Hochi Shimbun. His story, 'Sword of Doom,' was serialized over the course of three years. In the film, [my character] Ryunosuke commits a murder without a reason. But in Japan, there’s the concept of reincarnation in Buddhism. So if you commit a sin, it will be passed on to the next generation. So Ryunosuke is this man who uses this crazed, almost cursed sword. But when it comes down to it, the film is very much a “chanbara,” or samurai-swordplay film. As you said, in the last scene, I slashed down about 70 people in a period of three days.
