Nomex bag. The apparatus isolates the fire to just his head, and the box visibly concentrates the flame while also allowing it to be put out by closing it up for some oxygen starvation. Not witchcraft, but science.

When at the end of the magic trick the participant said what happened? it means he didn't feel any heat or anything, yes because in the box there is a top and front dividing plate on his head, meaning the box is made bigger than his head for the participant's safety, that's the magic trick. 😁
