I can’t believe I have to explain what’s happening here, but here goes. Elite students of Ivy League schools have glamorized oppression so much that they have now reached role play status to satisfy their fantasies. Here, the students have appropriated the suffering of Gazans and are cosplaying as living through humanitarian crisis. In their American make-believe story where Ivy League infrastructure sets the scene, the students play Gazans and the school administration plays Israel. Israel (the school) is blocking their “basic humanitarian aid” in this play, and if they don’t receive it soon, they will “die of thirst and starvation” (appropriating exact experiences of Gazans). They also destroy upper class buildings and claim them as “liberated” while the students repeat chants in zombie-like chorus, playing the roll of “freedom fighters” destroying Israeli infrastructure and claiming them freed. If I’m alive in a world where people don’t see the levels of perversion in this, I give up. You don’t see this in lower tier schools from kids of lower socio-economic standing because they aren’t plagued with the guilt of privilege that they’re seeking to launder through Middle East role plays of feigned suffering. This is as first world dystopia as it gets. Meanwhile, these Ivy League students who can have much more than a glass of water and as much food as their stomachs can take are commanding the attention of the media and the entire American audience, while actual Gazans who need humanitarian aid are ignored. The students at the Philadelphia High School of Performing Arts walked out because of a new dress code. No plunging necklines, back lines, midriffs, short shorts. Students are taken out of class if they violate the code and their parents are called to bring appropriate clothing. This is all in spite of a school district wide rule that children cannot be taken out of class because of clothing. Does the school district or the school have to change their policy? What is your opinion on dress codes?

The student said it was meant to teach students how to respond if ICE ever came to the class—and how white students needed to use their bodies to "cover" and "shield" other students who may be likely targets of immigration enforcement. The students’ unions of all three law faculties, CLC, LC1 and LC2, urged the deans to extend the exam dates but the deans stuck to the pre-scheduled dates. Yesterday on December 16, a protest was started by the students which continued throughout the day and it was peaceful, but the Dean deployed Delhi Police and CRPF to remove the students from the faculty, due to which there was chaos between the law students and the police and the matter became serious. The DU administration issued a notification stating that "The Date Sheet relating to LL.B. I/III/V Term December/January, 2024 Examination scheduled from 26th December, 2024 is put-on hold." However, the students remained adamant on their demand to postpone the examination schedule. Later, the police broke the entry gates of the campus and started lathicharge in which some students were injured. It is a matter of concern that law students were treated like rioters. That's why I'm calling for formal debates with professors across the country and offering a charitable contribution to the organization of their choice. #WATCH | Delhi: On CBSE OSM issue, Aparajita Gautam from Delhi Parents Association says, "... After the 12th board exams, and CBSE results, their future is decided.. Because of shortcomings in OSM (On-Screen Marking), many parents and children are disappointed. Students don’t just prepare in Class 12; they’ve been working for years, knowing their future depends on it. Students remain focused on competitive exams like JEE and NEET. But due to OSM, many didn’t achieve the required marks, causing stress for families and children. Now, they question why this was introduced suddenly without a proper test run. On social media, students are voicing complaints, though not all reach us directly, but the frustration is clear. If you check CBSE’s Facebook page, you’ll see countless complaints. The official figure says 6.5 lakh students raised objections, but I believe the number should be far higher. Out of 18 lakh students, 12 lakh are from government schools, many in rural areas. If metro city students with laptops struggled, imagine the difficulties faced by rural children with limited access... Training was rushed, with follow-ups missing. Teachers had to log in and practise with sample papers, yet no one verified whether they actually did. Another issue: papers were supposed to be checked by PGT teachers, but due to shortages, TGT teachers were involved. TGTs usually teach up to Class 10, so they may not have fully understood the marking scheme. This could be a reason why some students received lower marks."
