I’ve noticed ive lost a touch over 100kms per tank in one of my trucks. Normally get 680-720 now im getting 550-570 Started noticing about a month ago

Id be suspect of this, it may have more to do with the service station tanks than supplied fuel. Lower quality fuel means more sulphur not water

Look, I detest these bastards in Canberra as much as, if not MORE than anyone, but this story has warts on it. I'm not saying there's no water in the fuel, but that's not from the servo! Stick a cupful of Methylated Spirits in the tank. It disperses water and blends with fuel.

The fuel changes simply returned the sulfur content to what it was in December 2025, This is complete and utter bullshit. Water in marine fuel is common and all engines have separators on them. Anyone who believes this is a FUCKING MORON. Condensation, or E10. #auspol

Stop it katy, the water comes from the old poorly maintained underground fuel tanks at service stations, not from the suppliers. Katy, you are smarter than that, right? are you?

When the servo tanks get empty and then refilled all the water and sediment at the bottom is disturbed. This, coupled with the lower quality fuel, makes for a perfect storm. I doubt it will get better any time soon.

Between yesterday afternoon and this morning, it had increased by 8-10c a litre near mine.....down by almost 40c a litre this afternoon. Just waiting for the price of everything else to increase because of the fuel. It'll happen.

Could be that the service station fuel tank was low. This has happened to me in the past...Not good!

water may come from where they are getting the fuel, they may be putting water in their fuel tank to lift the level of the fuel so the pick-up will get more and hence some water too, I believe is you check records you will find cases of it .....

Its usually the servo. Our local servo in Glenwood, Qld had this issue 10 months ago. They were warned by the fuel drivers that water was in their tanks. Chose to ignore, damaged so many cars. I stopped going way before this, once indians took over everything went to shit🤬
