Mooresville, NC — On Thursday, January 29, Firewire subscribers were alerted to an active police incident following a 911 call reporting indecent exposure at the Nordstrom Rack parking lot in Mooresville. According to authorities, a female caller reported a man engaging in inappropriate behavior inside a vehicle, prompting an indecent exposure call. Officers with the Mooresville Police Department arrived quickly, at which point the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. A brief vehicle pursuit followed along Williamson Road. The suspect attempted to turn onto Highway 150, where he lost control and crashed into a light pole. Officers drew their weapons, ordered the suspect to the ground, and took him into custody without further incident. The suspect was identified as Matthew Elijah Newell, 24, of Sherrills Ford. He was transported to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for evaluation, released a short time later, and then transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. A girlfriend (former dental hygienist) said this should go viral b/c so many times she’s been on first dates and never saw the guy again because of periodontal disease/bad breath. Bad breath is a huge deterrent for most people and in many cases easily solved. I know I’ll be torn to bits over this but GEEZUS!!! Take a freaking hint. I had the best time shooting this promotional video. It felt like home. 🏠 I had the opportunity to shoot in Bed-Stuy at a beautiful church.
