I am bringing this video back as a reminder: We are not Catholics because of the Pope or any priest. We are Catholics because of JESUS CHRIST. Christ is the foundation of our faith. Not personalities. Not emotions. Not convenience. So no, A bad priest is not an excuse. A weak Bishop is not an excuse. A corrupt Pope is not an excuse. A “boring” homily is not an excuse. None of these are reasons to walk away from the Church Christ Himself established. If you are Catholic, be Catholic for the right reason, and that reason is, JESUS CHRIST.

I accept the fact that the Catholic Church has those who are called extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist. But in this case, where a priest is right in front of the altar and is leaving that extraordinary minister, if I can assume, to return the Body of Christ to the tabernacle, I don't find it right. He can do that himself.

To all these Protestants who claim you are former Catholics, and you say that the Catholic Church taught you not to read the Bible or that you should stay away from the Bible, and that you can't understand it, only the Church can, quit creating calumny and falsehoods. I have literally walked into Mass and they have Bibles out in stands. You can literally contact your diocese and they'll mail you a Bible, as well as the Catechism. I know because I've done it. Vatican II, even the Catechism of the Catholic Church, requires Christians to read the Bible, so just stop with the calumny. There are a lot of things I disagree with in the Catholic Church, but this is not one of them. So stop lying. The Catholic Church teaches to read the Bible. They have study Bibles. An adult neophyte, in the Roman Catholic Church, you are accepted as into the Church with ALL the Sacraments: Baptism (if you’ve not been validly Baptized), Confession, First Communion AND Confirmation at the same time. Candace Owens has just said she has not been Confirmed, and will be after Easter. Ergo…all this time, Candace has been speaking, representing herself “as a Catholic”, she has NOT been a Catholic. Intention to convert (Order of Christian Initiation) is not the same thing as BEING a Catholic. Honestly, I am shocked that Brompton Oratory has remained silent. That her Bishop, @DioceseNashville has not addressed this. Michael Knowles, did you know this?

Baptised Catholics who walk away from the true Church often claim they have “seen the light.” But let’s be clear, that is not the light. No failure of a priest. No scandal of a bishop. Not even the weakness of a Pope is ever a justification to abandon the Catholic Church. The truth is this: you don’t leave Christ because of Judas. He doesn't mince his words, especially when it comes to the doctrines of the church. Anyone who rejects the Eucharist has rejected Jesus and will not go to Heaven. Jesus said this himself in simple words.

It was this app that opened my eyes to all the beauties I didn't know that the Catholic Church has. This app has converted many people to the Catholic Christian faith. It has brought many Catholics who were confused about the Catholic faith back to the Church. If you are looking for where to grow richly in knowledge of the Catholic Church, this app is for you. It contains all the novenas and litanies you can think of. Mark Wahlberg, the popular Hollywood actor, taught me how to recite the rosary perfectly on this app. This app contains "Bible in a Year" and catechism podcast that was recorded by fathermikeschmitz during the covid lockdown. Fr. Mike read and explained the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation and explained it in such a way that it fits in our world today. Many Genzs all over the world have returned back to the Catholic Church because of this Hallow App. It also contains many gregorian chants and radio drama of many Saints that you can listen to. Saints like St. Valentine, St. Josephine Bahkita, St. Lucy, St. Patrick, St. Pope John Paul the Great, St. Padre Pio, and too many to count. There is also the children section if you are looking at wanting your kids to grow in the Catholic faith. This app has these and many more. I am deeply honored by this calling to serve as the second counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But at the same time, I recognize I’m not called to be honored—but called to serve. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve at the side of President Oaks and President Eyring. It is Jesus Christ who is the head of the Church. I know that. I bear witness of it. I am more sure of it every day. I know Him, I honor Him, I pledge my life and discipleship to Him.
