I think podcasts are more important than ever in this age of AI, and video in general... especially in my business (investment newsletters/research). Now with AI, anyone can type in a prompt and a full research reports gets spit out in seconds. Research overload/getting watered down. Want people want is the connection with the analyst. To see the REALNESS, the personality. You can do that on camera/having real conversations with subscribers.
