I am not mourning or grieving the passing of O.J. Simpson. I’m not going to celebrate it either. I remember how divisive his trial was. How some saw it as a win, & how devastating it was for others. I remember how problematic he was afterwards. 3 decades later & his passing is much less divisive. To speak highly of him would be frowned upon. I do think of those who have fond memories of him. Does Rory McIlroy think The Players Championship should be a major? “Look, I'd love to have seven majors instead of five, that sounds great. “I think THE PLAYERS is one of the best golf tournaments in the world. I don't think anyone disputes that or argues that. I think from a player perspective it's amazing. I think from an on-site fan experience it's amazing. It's an amazing golf course, location, venue. “But I don't -- like again, I'm a traditionalist, I'm a historian of the game. We have four major championships. You know, if you want to see what five major championships looks like, look at the women's game. I don't know how well that's went for them. “But it's THE PLAYERS. Like it doesn't need to be anything else. Like I would say it's got more of an identity than the PGA Championship does at the minute. So like from an identity standpoint, I think THE PLAYERS has got it nailed. “But it doesn't -- I think THE PLAYERS can be -- it is an amazing tournament in its own rite and I don't think it being classified a major or not a major makes it any more or any less. I'm still very proud to have won that tournament twice as I'm sure all the other champions are. I don't think -- it stands on its own without the label, I guess.”

Remember when MJ ran up on Stephen A Smith for saying LeBron might be the best 20 year old he's ever seen. MJ was so mad at him for saying this he pulled up in the black SUV to let him know he has 6 rings. What does 6 rings have to do with being the better player at 20 years of age? MJ didnt have any NBA championships at 20 years od age so it's completely irrelevant to the argument. This just shows how jealous MJ was of LeBron for being considered better than him at 20 years old. LeBron was in the middle of his 3rd year in the league and MJ STILL had to mention championships like he already had 6 at that point in his career. Imagine a 42 year old MJ being this jealous of LeBron. No wonder the media had been against him for so long. It's why ESPN keeps this clown on TV just so he can badmouth LeBron every chance he gets. MJ has been behind this the entire time and it's so obvious in different ways they cover them. MJ gets non-stop praise while LeBron gets non-stop criticism. And even with the blatant media bias, LeBron still came out on top.
