Attacks on the Department of Education will be devastating for students, families, and educators. Support for special education, rural schools, and more is on the line. Education is key to the American dream. This Administration is completely jeopardizing that.

Sinn Féin will bring a Motion to the Dáil on Tuesday to put a stop to Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael's indefensible waste of €9 million for phone pouches. Students, parents, teachers and schools are crying out for real investment in mental health services, special education and schools struggling to keep the lights and heat on. I ask you to contact your TDs, tell them that you won't tolerate this waste of taxpayers. They must reverse this decision and invest this badly needed funding in mental health services and schools. #budget2025 #mentalhealth #education

At a Senate Education Committee hearing on the state of K-12 education, I had to be honest. Trump is illegally freezing & cancelling funding for our schools and doing everything he can to dismantle the Department of Education. The state of education is in shambles.
