JUST IN: New York City is experiencing massive flooding causing the water to leak into the subway. NYC is quickly becoming a 3rd world country. I guess when you become a sanctuary city and have to set aside 12 billion dollars to provide housing and support to hundreds of thousands of migrants, you aren't able to have nice things like a functioning subway. This will only get worse for NYC.

Yesterday, Mayor Brandon Johnson Brandon Johnson angrily lashed out at "evil-spirited" Greg Abbott for busing migrants to Chicago without "proper notice" and that it is "racist" to send migrants to cities run by black, Democrat mayors. He also laid out his dubious reparations plan to reduce Chicago's violent crime rate. Like Mayor Lightfoot before him, Johnson appears to use race to deflect blame and attention away from his policy shortcomings. Chicago residents tell me that they don't want anymore excuses, or social engineering. They want real solutions to the violent crime rate and they want the millions in taxpayer dollars that have been misused on migrant vendor management companies and landlords to be returned to resident homeless, elderly and poor communities throughout Chicagoland. Chicago residents tell me that they don't want anymore excuses, or social engineering. And there is no path to passing a statewide constitutional amendment in Illinois with Johnson’s name attached. In 2020, the progressive tax constitutional amendment on the ballot won 71% support from Chicago voters and still lost statewide. When the mayor can’t win a simple majority in his own city, it’s difficult to believe state lawmakers would want a referendum on his leadership on every ballot in Illinois.
