Another group of our warriors is back home. Today, Ukrainian servicemen returned from Russian captivity — including members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly the Air Assault Forces, Naval Forces, and Territorial Defense Forces. Also released were service members of the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard, and the State Special Transport Service. Many of them spent nearly two years in captivity. Many have serious injuries and health issues. Most are officers. We know each and every one. We are bringing everyone back. And we continue working to return all. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible every day — and especially to our defenders who stood strong in captivity. Glory to Ukraine!

More than 9,500 Ukrainians already returned since start of full-scale war. This year 1,596 of our men and women have come back. We must return every single one, both military personnel and civilians, who remains in Russian captivity. Because they [Russians] keep saying that Nazis live here [in Ukraine], that we suppress the Russian language. It’s all bullsh*t. Here, everyone speaks however they want. 95 of our people are home again. These are the warriors who defended Mariupol and "Azovstal," as well as the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions. Each time Ukraine rescues its people from Russian captivity, we bring closer the day when freedom will be returned to all those still held in Russian captivity. I thank the team involved in finding and liberating prisoners. We are doing everything to bring back all of our people held by Russia. Today, another 205 of our warriors have returned home from Russian captivity. Our ability to bring our people back is the result of the bravery of our soldiers who skillfully fight and capture the occupiers. We must bring all our people home. I also held a Staff meeting, where one of the key topics was the protection of Ukraine’s skies — particularly, the downing of Shahed drones, including with the use of other drones. This is one of the most advanced technologies in modern warfare. The coming weeks are expected to be very active for Ukraine in diplomacy. We are planning new measures to increase pressure on Russia—to protect our people. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.

Because of the insanity of Russian leadership, all nations around the world are facing a period of uncertainty and insecurity. The world is becoming increasingly aware that more wars may be on the horizon. But we have the strength to stop this. We have the strength to preserve normal life. The world has it. And this strength must be put to use right now to stop Russia. I am grateful to everyone who defends Ukraine, everyone who works for Ukraine, and everyone who remembers that the primary goal is to provide Ukraine with all the tools it needs to expel the occupiers. We will certainly do so.
